Avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, B and D, lecithin, potassium, essential fatty acids as well as vitamin E. It is highly penetrative and excellent for dry, dehydrated flaky or mature skin also beneficial for eczema or psoriasis.
Avocado oil is very useful when treating sun or climate damaged skin that is dehydrated and undernourished as it is said to help with regenerating the skin and softening the tissue.
Avocado oil also makes a great hair conditioner. Rub in well for approx 20 minutes. Also suitable for Indian Head Massage.
Avocado oil is good for several years because it is really a liquid wax and not an oil. - Just keep at room temp otherwise it will solidify and go cloudy - if this happens just return to room temp and it goes back to liquid.
PLEASE NOTE : Avocado Oil can go cloudy and harden in cold temperatures and weather (for this reason do not refrigerate), but this can be rectified by putting it in a warm place before use. Once the temperature warms the Avocado Oil returns to normal.
